Cryotherapy

FloatWell introduces a cutting-edge approach to wellness with Whole Body Cryotherapy (WBC), a therapeutic technique that harnesses the power of extreme cold to promote healing and rejuvenation. In a controlled chamber, clients are exposed to temperatures as low as minus 100 degrees Celsius for a brief period, triggering a cascade of physiological responses within the body. This immersive cold therapy stimulates circulation, reduces inflammation, and releases endorphins, resulting in a range of benefits from pain relief to improved athletic performance and enhanced mood.

At FloatWell, each Whole Body Cryotherapy session is tailored to meet the unique needs of the individual, with experienced practitioners guiding clients through the process to ensure safety and maximize effectiveness. Whether recovering from injury, managing chronic pain, or seeking a natural energy boost, clients can expect to experience immediate and long-lasting results from WBC. The brief duration of each session, typically lasting just a few minutes, makes it an accessible and time-efficient option for busy individuals looking to optimize their health and well-being.

Beyond its physical benefits, Whole Body Cryotherapy at FloatWell offers a holistic approach to wellness, addressing the interconnectedness of the mind and body. Many clients report not only physical improvements but also enhanced mental clarity, reduced stress levels, and a greater overall sense of well-being. With a commitment to providing innovative and effective wellness solutions, FloatWell’s integration of Whole Body Cryotherapy represents a powerful addition to its comprehensive suite of services, empowering clients to achieve optimal health and vitality.

Whole Body vs Localized Cryotherapy

Along with our Whole Body Cryotherapy chamber, we also offer Localized Cryotherapy.

While Whole Body Cryotherapy treats the entire body at once, Localized Cryotherapy gives specific and targeted treatment to areas causing greater pain and inflammation. It involves applying cold temperatures up to -175°F to localized regions for 5 to 10 minutes. This method is particularly effective for treating localized pain, inflammation, and aiding in the recovery of specific muscle groups.

This treatment can also be used for aesthetic purposes, such as providing relaxing, wrinkle-reducing facials, and improving skin health. We love to offer Localized Cryotherapy in our facials to create smaller pores, reduced wrinkles, and relief from headaches.

Contrast Therapy

Contrast Therapy

Have you heard of contrast (hot & cold) therapy?

Cold plunging is the new trend, but we think Cryotherapy is even better. While cold plunging is a beneficial and accessible method of cold exposure, cryotherapy provides more precise temperature control, time efficiency, a stronger physiological response, targeted treatment, increased comfort and hygiene, and access to complementary therapies. These advantages make cryotherapy a superior choice for many individuals seeking the therapeutic benefits of cold exposure.

Even better than cryotherapy alone is contrasting it with heat therapy. When you pair cold therapy with heat therapy, you can receive benefits like increased circulation, reduced muscle soreness, accelerated recovery time, pain relief, enhanced flexibility, boosted immune function, reduced stress and anxiety, improved skin appearance and texture, and more.

Contrast therapy is easy at FloatWell. After your Cryotherapy appointment, just hop right across the hall to our infrared sauna.
